This article describes how to upgrade from Ping Thing v2.06 or below.
How To
Your Ping Thing folder, by default will be in \program files\mad-monkey\ping thing
In this folder, right click on, and rename the file called PingThing.ini, to PingThing.bak
Install Ping Thing over your existing version. By default, when you run Ping Thing, you will receive default devices and settings.
Again, make sure Ping Thing is closed, and then right click and delete the file called PingThing.ini
Rename the file called PingThing.bak, back to PingThing.ini
Start PingThing as normal, and you will receive your old devices and settings.
